A Break From Everything

This blog post begins with an apology. My last post was all about coming back from a break with the hope that I could get back to riding and writing. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite go as planned. However, there is a very good reason.

At the beginning of the month, I married my best friend and love of my life. I’m now very proud to be able to call her my wife. As a result, I made the tough decision that the riding and the blog posts had to take a back seat for a while. I did plan on being super organised, plan ahead a little and have some blog posts ready to be published while I was away. As you’re well aware, that didn’t happen. I think that is something I’m going to be aiming for as we start to enter the winter months.

Still, it’s not all bad. It meant that I could focus on and enjoy my wedding and honeymoon without worrying about other bits and pieces getting in the way. After all, how often do those things happen?

IMG_5692It also gave me a break from everything and I was able to recharge my batteries. Hopefully, the pictures will give you an indication of what I had to endure. It’s hard, but someone has to do it. Now with the wedding planning and honeymoon prep out of the way I can get back to falling off my bike and telling you all about how much it hurt.

So, a little bit of a different post to the usual but I plan to get back into the swing of things and normal service shall be resumed in the coming weeks. There are a few things that I have planned which I can’t wait to share with you.

Until next time.

Jack
